Job Description
The Product Manager in China will be responsible for positioning and evolving the Solar Tracking Electronics product in the Chinese and APAC markets. They will act as a key liaison between engineering, production, sales, and customers, ensuring the product meets local market requirements and driving its evolution. The role will particularly focus on defending product differentiation and reliability by aligning it with the needs of Chinese customers, which they will also help shape. They will promote a proper understanding of the product by clients and ensure customers receive optimal service consistent with the organization’s strategy.
Role Description
The Product Manager in China will be responsible for the positioning and continuous optimization of electronic products for solar tracking systems in the Chinese and Asia-Pacific markets. As a key liaison between engineering, production, sales teams, and customers, they will ensure that the products meet the needs of the local market and drive their continuous development. Their primary tasks include: deeply understanding and defining the needs of Chinese customers, accurately communicating the product's differentiation and reliability advantages, guiding customers to properly understand the product's value, and ensuring they receive the best service experience aligned with the company’s strategy.
Main Responsabilities
- Act as the Product Spokesperson: Represent the product in China as both technical and commercial reference, taking full responsibility for its promotion.
- Market Knowledge and Needs Definition: Identify and analyze local market needs (requirements, customers, regulations, competition) and transfer them into the product roadmap.
- Cross-functional Coordination and Product Implementation: Coordinate with corporate R&D teams, local suppliers, and manufacturing teams to ensure proper product adaptation.
- Support Market Promotion: Participate in commercial launches, technical presentations, and customer and partner training sessions.
- Performance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement: Track product performance and propose ongoing improvements in coordination with Product Management (HQ).
- Build Competitive Advantages: Develop and defend technical arguments and comparisons with competitors in front of customers.
- Participate in Market Activities: Attend trade fairs, customer visits, and technical marketing actions.

Minimum requirements
Requirements & Skills
- Technical background (Electronic, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or similar).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in product management, technical business development, or related areas, preferably in the photovoltaic solar or energy sector.
- Knowledge of the tracker ecosystem and the solar market in China is a plus.
- Ability to work in multicultural and multidisciplinary environments.
- High level of English and Chinese (spoken and written); Spanish is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, customer orientation, and cross-functional leadership ability.
- Willingness to travel within the country and occasionally to HQ (3–4 week training period in Spain).
